26th Annual Skeleton Run Draws Record Crowd to Amherst

Over 1,000 runners celebrate fitness, fun, and COMET PRIDE
AMHERST, OH — October 26, 2025 — The streets of Amherst were filled with energy, costumes, and community spirit as over 630 runners/walkers participated in the 5K and more than 400 youth runners took part in the 26th Annual Skeleton Run, hosted by RunAmherst.com.
This year’s event featured fast times, festive outfits, and incredible support from volunteers, sponsors, and families who made it all possible.

  • Overall Winner: Zachary Wilburn — 16:31.11
  • Top Female: Mallory Golski — 19:04.7
  • Masters Male Winner: Brian Lobsiger — 19:08.71
  • Masters Female Winner: Kelli Pittak — 19:56.75
