AJH Cross Country Competed at the Tiffin CC Carnival

The Amherst Junior High School cross country team ran at the Tiffin Cross Country Carnival on Saturday, September 6.

Logan King Rivera, Isaac Locker, Elijah Sturgeon, Michael Lauer, and Alec Wenger scored, earning 9th place out of 38 boys' teams, and Ben Heinowski was the most-improved Amherst boy.

Mia Kothe, Elyse Sixbey, Riley Cisar, Lillian Tenorio, and Ryliegh Mull scored for the girls, earning 13th place out of 32 teams. Sophia Brundage was the most-improved Comet, dropping more than a minute from her previous best time.

The Comets will be back at LCCC on Tuesday for the Open Door Invitational.
