AJH Cross Country Competes at Earlybird

AJH Comets Improve Times at Earlybird Invitational

The Amherst Junior High School cross country teams ran in the Avon Lake Earlybird Invitational on Saturday, August 30. Mia Kothe, Taelyn Nida, Elyse Sixbey, Riley Cisar, and Lillian Tenorio scored for the girls. Isaac Locker, Alec Wenger, Michael Lauer, Elijah Sturgeon, and Anthony Vance scored for the boys. Kaitlyn Lowry was the most-improved runner, dropping nearly two minutes from her previous time, and Anthony Vance was the most-improved boy. The girls placed 5th out of 19 teams, and the boys placed 10th out of 22 teams. The Comets will head to the Tiffin Cross Country Carnival on Saturday, September 6.
