AJH Cross Country Competes at Open Door Invitational

The Amherst Junior High School cross country teams returned to LCCC for the Open Door Invitational where both the boys' and girls' teams placed 3rd out of 18 teams.

Logan King Rivera finished 8th out of 166 boys, and Isaac Locker placed 10th. Michael Lauer, Ben Heinowski, and Alec Wenger also scored.

Mia Kothe, Taelyn Nida, Riley Cisar, Lillian Tenorio, and Grace Walker scored for the girls. Walker was also the most-improved runner.

The Comets will head to Avon Lake next week for the Candy Run.
