Baseball Earns Road Win at Olmsted Falls

Baseball picked up a road victory on Tuesday, defeating Olmsted Falls 4-0.

Harrison Schneider improved to 3-0 on the season after striking out 9 over 5 2/3 innings. Brody Glick recorded the final out of the sixth inning, and Zach Diedrick finished the game with a scoreless seventh to secure the shutout.

The Comets broke through in the second inning when Gavin Ford singled to center field, driving in both Schneider and Diedrick to give the Comets a 2-0 lead. Immediately following, Nick Wilkinson delivered an RBI single to right field, scoring Ford to extend the lead to 3-0.

The Comets added an insurance run in the sixth, as Landon Wolf lifted a sacrifice fly to right field to bring home Cooper Bingham, extending the lead to 4-0.
