Baseball Wins 1-0 over North Ridgeville

Baseball came out on top in a Wednesday pitchers duel, defeating North Ridgeville 1-0.

Cael Charles was dominant on the mound for the Comets, throwing a complete game while striking out 10 and allowing just two hits. North Ridgeville’s Ryan Anderson also turned in a strong performance, going all six innings.

The game’s only run came in the bottom of the fifth inning when Nick Wilkinson hit a ground ball to shortstop that resulted in a wide throw at home plate, Tyler Denn scored the only run in the game.
