Boys 4x200m School Record Highlights the NEOITC All Star Meet

Indoor Track and Field competed in the NEOITC All Star Meet this past Friday at SPIRE Institute, turning in several standout performances.

Alex Sixbey earned a runner-up finish in the girls pole vault, clearing 11 feet. On the boys side, the 4x200 relay team of Carter Boone, Julius Donald, Gaige Patton, and Ben Thompson set another school record while placing second with a time of 1:29.36.

The boys 4x400 relay of Ethan Wilhelms, Ben Dotson, Julius Donald, and Ben Thompson finished fifth in 3:28.80. Individually, Gaige Patton placed seventh in the boys 200 meters with a time of 22.68, while Camden Simo took eighth in the weight throw at 54 feet, 3 inches.

The Comets will compete next at the Indoor State Championship on March 6.
