Boys Basketball Wins at Midview

Boys Basketball controlled the game from start to finish in a 71-42 road win over Midview on Tuesday night at Midview High School.

The Comets set the tone early, building a 19-9 lead after the first quarter and extending it to 43-21 by halftime. Amherst continued to pull away in the second half, leading 65-31 after three quarters before closing out the convincing conference victory.

Jack Coleman led all scorers with 22 points, while Mason Lymer added 14 points and Stanley Robinson chipped in 11. Amherst connected on 10 three-pointers in the win.

The Comets return to action Friday night for Senior Night, hosting North Ridgeville.
