Boys Bowling defeats North Ridgeville

The Amherst boys bowling team continued its strong start to the season with a 2,525–2,264 victory over North Ridgeville on Monday at Rebman Recreation.

Ethan Burich and Garrett Smith powered the Comets with matching game highs of 255, as Burich finished with a team-best 462 series and Smith added a 434 series. Brady Smith rolled a solid 405, while Zaden Watkins contributed a 370 series. Grant Taylor posted a 177 in Game 1, and Trenton Roberts added a 219 in Game 2 to round out the scoring.

Amherst had strong Baker games, posting scores of 226 and 232.

The Comets are back in action tomorrow, taking on Avon at Nautical Lanes at 1 p.m.
