Boys Bowling Qualifies for OHSAA Division I State Championships

Boys Bowling punched its ticket to the OHSAA Division I State Championships(Opens in a new window) after finishing third place at the district tournament on Sunday at Rebman’s Recreation(Opens in a new window).

The Comets posted a total team score of 4,246, highlighted by strong individual performances. Ethan Burich rolled a 650 series (246-217-187), while Garrett Smith followed with a 644 series (188-242-214). Brady Smith added a 620 series (203-179-238), Grant Taylor recorded a 612 series (203-235-174), and Trenton Roberts contributed a 581 series (191-194-196).

In baker play, the team combined for a 1,139 series with games of 198, 204, 190, 209, 153, and 185.

The Comets will compete at States at HP Lanes(Opens in a new window) in Columbus(Opens in a new window) on March 6.
