Boys Bowling Rolls to Runner-Up Finish at NSBC Tournament

Boys bowling earned a second-place finish at the North Shore Bowling Conference Tournament on Sunday at AMF Medina Lanes, posting a team final score of 4,203.

The Comets put together a strong showing in individual play, led by Ethan Burich, who rolled games of 239, 188 and 235 for a 662 series to place third overall in the tournament. Brady Smith followed with a consistent performance of 226, 182 and 239 for a 647 series, earning a sixth-place overall finish.

Garrett Smith contributed a 611 series with games of 217, 210 and 184, while Trenton Roberts added a 580 series after bowling games of 161, 223 and 196. Grant Taylor rounded out Amherst’s individual scoring with games of 203, 186 and 165 for a 554 series.

In Baker play, the Comets continued their steady performance across six games, rolling scores of 222, 172, 179, 184, 173 and 219 for a total of 1,149 pins.
