Boys Bowling Wins Eagle Challenge

Boys bowling claimed the team championship at the Eagle Challenge, hosted by North Olmsted High School on Sunday at Rollhouse North Olmsted. The tournament featured 25 boys teams.

The Comets rolled 16 Baker games, competing in four rounds of four games each. Amherst opened with rounds of 769 and 772 before building momentum with an 832 in Round 3. The Comets capped the day with an 874 in Round 4, the highest round score of the tournament, finishing with a team total of 3,247.

Rounding out the top five teams were St. Ignatius (3,141), Wadsworth (3,139), North Royalton (3,134), and Olmsted Falls (3,097).

Amherst’s championship lineup included Ethan Burich, Brady Smith, Garrett Smith, Trenton Roberts, Grant Taylor, and Zaden Watkins.
