Boys Bowling Wins Turkey Classic Championship

The Amherst boys bowling team captured the Turkey Classic title on Saturday, December 6, 2025, behind strong individual performances and a dominant Baker showing.

Ethan Burich led the Comets with a 659 series, finishing among the top eight individuals. Garrett Smith also placed in the top eight with a 651 series that featured the team’s high game of 259, while Brady Grady Smith earned his own top-eight finish with a 617 series.

Additional scoring came from Grant Taylor with a 533 series and from Trenton Roberts, who rolled a 157 in Game 1. Zaden Watkins added a 141 in Game 2 and a 192 in Game 3.

Amherst closed out the event with a strong Baker performance, totaling 1,233 pins, highlighted by a 256 in Game 4.
