Boys JV Soccer Beat Normandy

The Amherst Steele JV soccer stayed undefeated, winning its fifth straight game 3-0 against Parma Normandy.
Chris Foisy led off the scoring with a tremendous shot off a Cole Phelan assist. Minutes later, Julius Donald took a through ball from Ethan Reed and chipped the helpless Invader goalkeeper. Connor Davis provided an insurance goal just before the half, gathering a pass from Foisy and beating the goalkeeper to the near post.
Rafael De Los Santos and Lukas Hassing had another brilliant defensive game for the Comets and Aiden Haney and Carson Szudarek split the shutout in goal.
The Comets improve to 5-0 on the season and take on Avon Lake on Wednesday.
