Boys Tennis beats Lake Ridge Academy 5-0

Tuesday marked Boys Tennis’ first home match of the season, and the Comets delivered a 5-0 sweep over Lake Ridge Academy.

The Comets controlled play from the start, earning straight-set victories across the board. At first singles, Katelyn Bussard led the way with a commanding 6-0, 6-0 win over Erin Shin. Marie Schneider followed with a strong performance at second singles, defeating Riley Kolbay 7-5, 6-0, while Josh Tomlin completed the singles sweep with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Jack Thompson at third singles.

They continued their winning ways in doubles play. Garet Bott and Carter Crawford secured a 6-2, 6-2 win at first doubles, and the duo of Sam Bennett and Carson Truman closed out the match with a decisive 6-0, 6-0 victory at second doubles.
