Boys Volleyball Falls in Competitive Match to St. Ed's

Boys Volleyball battled throughout the night but came up short in a 3-0 loss to St. Edward on Tuesday. The Comets pushed each set, falling by scores of 25-18, 25-21, and 25-23.

Mason Lymer led the attack with 10 kills, while Gavin Beckler added 8 and James Ludwig chipped in 7. Joe Penano dished out 13 assists and Hector Mendez contributed 10 in setting up the offense.

Defensively, Ludwig and Beckler each recorded 10 digs, with Lymer adding 7. Ludwig also anchored serve receive with 19 receptions, followed by Beckler with 12.

Amherst moves to 12-6 on the season and will return to action Friday at home against Sylvania Northview.
