Coach Bray Picks up Win 100 as Boys Basketball beats Olmsted Falls

Boys basketball earned a hard-fought 64–59 home victory over Olmsted Falls on Friday night, a win that also marked Head Coach, Pat Bray, 100th career victory.
The Comets jumped out to a strong start, leading 19–7 at the end of the first quarter, before Olmsted Falls trimmed the margin to 24–22 by halftime. Amherst maintained control in the third quarter, carrying a 45–39 advantage into the final period, and held off a late push to secure the win.
Stanley Robinson led the Comets with 15 points, sealing the victory with two clutch free throws in the closing moments. David Dudziak added 12 points, while Cole Scanlon chipped in nine points, all coming on three-point field goals.
Amherst returns to the floor on Tuesday night when the Comets host the Lorain Titans.
