Girls Basketball falls to North Ridgeville

The Comets battled throughout but came up short in their home matchup against North Ridgeville on Tuesday night, falling 51–45.

North Ridgeville led 17–12 after the first quarter and held a 28–22 advantage at halftime. The Raptors extended their lead to 41–29 after three quarters before Amherst mounted a late push in the fourth.

Sarai Hussein-Bey paced Amherst with 11 points, while Grace Bender added 10.
