Girls Basketball Wins 56-33 over North Olmsted on Senior Night

Girls Basketball celebrated Senior Night in style, earning a 56–33 win over North Olmsted on Wednesday night.

Prior to tipoff, the Comets honored seniors Alaina Alflen and Addy Andrijowich for their contributions to the program. Amherst then set the tone early, jumping out to a 16–2 lead after the first quarter and taking a 29–11 advantage into halftime.

The Comets continued to control the game in the second half, extending the lead to 39–18 after three quarters before closing out the victory.

Amalee Caldera led Amherst with 14 points, while Abby Broaddus added 12 points and Sarai Hussein-Bey finished with 11 points in the Senior Night win.
