Girls Bowling dropped a close match to Firelands on Wednesday at Park Lanes, falling 1,615–1,574.

Kiara Taylor led the Comets with a team-high series of 381, highlighted by a match-high 202 in Game 2. Sophia Chapman added a 353 series, while Peyton Zakrajsek rolled a 315. Haydn Beischlag contributed a 291 for Amherst.

In baker play, the Comets totaled 234 pins but were unable to close the gap as Firelands held on for the win.
