Girls Bowling Finishes 10th at OHSAA Districts

Girls Bowling concluded its season on Monday at the Division I District Bowling Tournament at Rebman’s Recreation, finishing 10th overall in a competitive 19-team field.
Individually, Isabell Mendosa led the Comets with a 543 series (180-190-173), while Peyton Zakrajsek followed with a 506 series (173-171-162). So Chapman rolled a 479 series (167-140-172), Kiara Taylor posted a 448 series (160-142-146), and Haydn Beischlag added a 409 series (122-162-125). The team’s individual game total came in at 2,385.
In Baker play, the Comets recorded games of 150, 143, 193, 139, 149, and 140 for a 914 Baker series, finishing with a total team score of 3,299.
The tournament marked the end of a successful season for the Comet Girls Bowlers, highlighted by a Southwestern Conference Championship and qualification for the OHSAA Division I District Tournament.
