Girls Bowling Starts 2025 with a Win over Black River

The Amherst girls bowling team opened its season with a strong performance, earning a 1,888–1,479 victory over Black River.

Isabell Mendosa led the Comets with a 347 series, followed closely by Haydn Beischlag with a 343. Peyton Zakrajsek added a 300 series, while Sophia Chapman rolled a 299 and Kiara Taylor contributed a 270 to round out the scoring. Amherst also posted Baker Games of 145 and 184 for a 329 total.

The Comets return to action on Wednesday at Medina Lanes against Buckeye.
