Girls Bowling Takes Home Turkey Classic

The Amherst girls bowling team captured the Turkey Classic Championship on Saturday with a strong performance.

Kiara Taylor led the Comets with a 518 series, followed by Isabell Mendosa’s 489 and Haydn Beischlag’s 436. Sophia Chapman rolled a team-high 190 in Game 3 on her 475 series, and Peyton Zakrajsek added a 496 series. Taylor and Zakrajsek both finished among the top eight individuals.

The Lady Comets posted a combined Baker Game total of 919 to secure the championship.
