Girls Bowling Wins at Avon

Girls bowling team picked up a win over Avon at Nautical Lanes, rolling to a 1,941–1,578 victory.

Peyton Zakrajsek led the way for the Comets with a 385 series, highlighted by the match’s high game of 216. Isabell Mendosa added a 365 series, while Sophia Chapman contributed 334. Haydn Beischlag (305) and Kiara Taylor (254) rounded out the scoring. Amherst also posted back-to-back Baker games of 149.

The Comets return to the lanes on Monday when they host Brunswick at Rebman’s Recreation at 4 p.m.
