Girls Cross Country Qualifies as a Team for OHSAA Regionals

The Girls Cross Country Team finished 5th of 24 schools in Saturday’s District Meet at LCCC, advancing as a team to the Regional Championships for the 34th time in the last 37 years.

Finishing 1st team All-Lorain County for the Comet’s Saturday were Freshmen Samantha Falbo, Lila Woskobunik, and Lola Schaaf, along with Senior Nyah Jesko

And Junior Rosalie Kapalin.  Juniors Aubrey Brenot and Liana Del Valle earned 2nd team All-Lorain County honors for the Lady Comets at the District meet.

Amherst, now with a record of 104-29 for the season, races again in the Regional Championships at Boardman High School on Saturday.  Race time for the Division 2 girls is 1:40 PM
