Hockey Falls to Hudson in Baron Cup Semifinals

Hockey fell Friday night 3–1 to Hudson in the Baron Cup Tournament Red Division semifinal at the Brooklyn Recreation Center.

Hudson scored the first three goals of the game, breaking a scoreless tie with two goals in the second period before adding another early in the third to build a 3–0 lead. Luke Fiss scored twice for Hudson, while Nolan Carter added the other goal.

Amherst got on the scoreboard late in the game when Vinny Kelley netted a third-period goal, assisted by Mason Lamoreaux, to avoid the shutout.

Hudson advanced with the win, while Amherst concluded its Baron Cup Tournament appearance in the semifinal round.
