JV Boys Soccer beats Berea-Midpark

The Amherst Steele JV squad remained undefeated with a resounding 8-0 win over Berea-Midpark.
Cole Phelan scored a hat trick to lead the Comet attack. Julius Donald added two goals, while Ethan Reed, Jensen Sanchez, and Grayson Brenot added a goal apiece.
Chris Foisy, Connor Davis, and Jameson Parsons were absolute magicians, pitching in with two assists each. Sanchez also added an assist late in the game.
Rafael De Los Santos, Davis Frizell, Liam Grandon, Lukas Hassing, Dom Lopez, and Ethan Reed played outstanding defense for the Comets. Aiden Haney and Carson Szudarek split the shutout in the net.
The Comets (4-0, 1-0 in the SWC) travel to Parma Normandy on Saturday.
