Kissane Qualifies for District Tournament

Amherst junior Alek Kissane advanced to the OHSAA Division I District Golf Tournament after an impressive showing at the sectional tournament held today at Grey Hawk Golf Club (par 72). Kissane carded a 4-over-par 76, finishing in a tie for third overall and earning the spot as the top individual qualifier among players not on a qualifying team.

Kissane will compete in the district tournament on Monday, October 6 at Pine Hills Golf Club in Hinckley.

As a team, Amherst shot a combined score of 340, finishing in eighth place.
