Wrestling Finishes 6th at Edison Invitational

Wrestling opened its season at the Edison Invitational, finishing 6th out of 13 teams. Several Comets earned top finishes in their weight classes.

Mathew Vidovich (144 lbs) and Isaac Vasquez (175 lbs) led the team with 3rd place finishes. Chase Chandler (126 lbs), Cristian Nieves (132 lbs), and Javiaun Bush (285 lbs) each placed 4th. Jax Percival (106 lbs), Trae Thompson (120 lbs), Gabe Shumney (157 lbs), and Preston Rector (190 lbs) earned 5th place honors, while Jordan Hatfield (215 lbs) finished 6th.

Next up is a Home Match with Berea-Midpark this Thursday. JV matches will start at 6p.
