Wrestling Wins at Home Over Olmsted Falls

Wrestling picked up a 41-28 home win over Olmsted Falls on Thursday night, winning eight of the 14 bouts to earn the dual victory.

The Comets collected bonus points with falls from Devin Juristy (113), Canin Fritz (138), Isaac Vasquez (175), and Javiaun Bush (285), along with a forfeit at 150 pounds. Amherst also received key decision wins from Cristian Nieves (132), Mathew Vidovich (144), and Julian Recko (157).

Olmsted Falls earned a technical fall at 165 pounds and added pins at 106, 175, 190, and 285, but Amherst’s depth across the lineup proved to be the difference in the 41-28 result.
